Providing Energy Audits and Lean Assessments for Manufacturers 

The 麻豆传媒社区 Industrial Training and Assessment Center (ITAC) offers no-cost industrial assessments and ASHRAE Level Energy Audits to eligible small- and medium-sized manufacturers across Georgia. These assessments are performed by teams of KSU faculty and engineering students and are designed to identify actionable opportunities for cost savings, energy efficiency improvements, and waste reduction.

ITAC's Role in Workforce Development

In addition to serving industry, ITAC plays a vital role in workforce development by providing KSU engineering students with hands-on experience in real-world industrial environments. Our goal is to prepare students for successful careers in energy engineering, lean manufacturing, and smart manufacturing technologies.

Dr. Amin Esmaeili is the Director of the Industrial Training and Assessment Center (ITAC) at 麻豆传媒社区 and an Associate Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering. Since 2021, he has led the ITAC team in delivering energy and productivity assessments for manufacturing facilities across Georgia. Over the years, Dr. Esmaeili has authored or co-authored numerous journal articles and conference papers and has presented his work at various regional and national conferences.

Dr. Javad Khazaii is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering Technology and the Assistant Director of the 麻豆传媒社区 ITAC. In recent years, he has co-authored several scientific journal articles and conference proceedings for organizations such as ASME and IBPSA. In 2024, ScholarGPS ranked him 31st globally among academic scholars (lifetime) in the field of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC).
